Lynn Ernsting Recognized with NACCU 2023 Outstanding Volunteer Award

Phoenix, AZ – April 28, 2023 – NACCU is honored to recognize Lynn Ernsting from Seattle Pacific University as the recipient of the NACCU 2023 Outstanding Volunteer Award.

The NACCU Outstanding Volunteer Award is presented annually to recognize an individual who has demonstrated exemplary volunteer service to the mission, goals, and work of NACCU during the current or previous calendar year and encompasses the ideals of vision, diligence and commitment to service to the NACCU community.

On Monday, April 17, 2023, NACCU held the Volunteer Recognition Luncheon for those who serve on NACCU Committees, during which the successes of all our volunteers who donate time and work to advance the association and to provide programs and services for all NACCU members were celebrated. During the luncheon, the 2023 NACCU Outstanding Volunteer Award was presented to Lynn Ernsting from Seattle Pacific University.

Lynn served as the chair of the NACCU Ambassadors Committee, was the 2022 chair of the NACCU Awards Committee, served on the prior Membership Committee, and has coordinated a state-wide campus card group for Washington. In the midst of organizational changes at her institution and completion of professional education, she continues to make NACCU a priority. Lynn Ernsting offers a wonderful example of what the future of NACCU looks like.

Lynn was nominated by multiple individuals, who had wonderful things to say about Lynn, including that she takes ownership in whatever role she is tasked to accomplish, that she has a contagious and upbeat can-do attitude, and is always ready to greet others with a smile and words of encouragement. Lynn is passionate about our association and the industry as a whole, and how we all work to enrich the campuses we serve. She is enthusiastic and understanding, and her leadership style elicits fruitful discussion and organic conversations, giving committee members confidence and guidance, and allowing them to feel like champions of something great.
