Phoenix, AZ – April 17, 2025 – NACCU is honored to recognize Nelson Oliver, Director - Integrated Security Management Division at Mississippi State University as the recipient of the NACCU 2025 New Professional Award. Sebastien Dayer, CSO, from NACCU Visionary Sponsor Secanda, presented the award to Nelson during the Awards Luncheon at the NACCU 2025 Annual Conference in Henderson, Nevada on April 9, 2025.
The NACCU New Professional Award recognizes an individual with five or fewer years in the campus identification and transaction system profession who has made significant contributions to their institution, the industry and to the association during their relatively short time in their position.
Every year we see NACCU grow and change, with the addition of new professionals stepping into the world of higher education credentials. Emerging new professionals bring fresh ideas and new insights. The NACCU New Professional Award is presented annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to their institution, the industry and to the association within a relatively short period of time.
Nelson Olivier has demonstrated exceptional initiative and commitment. He has immersed himself in the NACCU community, using every opportunity and resource to grow, contribute, and connect with others in the field. His passion for card system technology, especially in areas such as card system integration and door access, has made him a go-to resource for colleagues. The knowledge and resources gained through NACCU membership has directly contributed to enhancing the quality of his institution’s card office program. He has presented at regional and national events, and serves on the NACCU Ambassadors committee. His passion for enhancing the campus experience and willingness to support others position him as an emerging leader in the field.
