NACCU 2025 Best Video Award Presented to University of Notre Dame

Phoenix, AZ – April 17, 2025 – NACCU is pleased to announce that the University of Notre Dame has received the NACCU 2025 Best Video Award. Tim Nyblom, Director of End User Business Development – Higher Education at HID, NACCU Pinnacle sponsor, presented the award during the Awards Luncheon at the NACCU 2025 Annual Conference held on April 9, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada.

Mike Hovestol from the University of Notre Dame, who nominated the video for the award, was surprised with the news in a virtual meeting prior to the conference, as no one from the university was able to attend the conference in person.

The NACCU Best Video Award recognizes an institution’s use of video to communicate the purpose and intent of the card center. It may promote use of the campus card and other related technology. The recipient is chosen by popular vote from NACCU members.

This year's Best Video Award goes to a submission that captures the spirit of campus life at the University of Notre Dame with creativity, humor, and heart. The winning video takes us on an entertaining journey through the student experience, complete with fun visuals that are true to the university brand while giving students important information about how to use their mobile credential on campus.
