Meet Your NACCU Volunteers: Courtney Petrizzi
This is the latest installment of the NACCU series highlighting our association volunteers. NACCU provides programs and services to our members, many which would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteer leaders. Volunteers, whether they are a committee member, a Board member, or an onsite volunteer at a conference, are all important in making NACCU volunteer-driven programs an exceptional experience for our card industry peers.

What is your role at your institution?
I am the Communications Specialist for ACT Card at UA, providing social/digital media, communications and marketing for the office.
Where was the first NACCU conference you attended?
My first conference was in Reno, Nevada in 2018.
What is your favo(u)rite thing about volunteering with your NACCU committee?
The best thing about volunteering with the Ambassador Committee is the ability to connect with numerous different schools and diverse card and auxiliary programs, and introduce them to all the benefits being a part of the NACCU community brings.
What show are you binge-watching right now?
I finished binging Squid Game, so I've kept it in the same vein of phenomenal Korean shows and have started Kingdom (on Netflix as well). It's outstanding and a different take of zombies - perfect for Spooky Season!
What is your go-to coffee / tea order?
For my Coffee, I prefer Iced Honey Oat Milk Latte; for my tea, it is Earl Grey with honey and lemon.
What is your favo(u)rite memory from when you were a student?
My favorite memory was traveling to Spain and Portugal as part of the Alpine Living Team as a photographer/writer. Alpine Living is a student-led international travel magazine that produces a 100+ page, full-gloss magazine promoting the art, history, culture, people, and traditions of various countries.
What is one thing that would surprise people about you?
I was a band kid! I was a majorette and played in symphonic, concert, and jazz bands in high school, and was on the trumpet line for the Million Dollar Band at UA.
What phone app do you use the most?
Discord, Reddit, and Twitter are tied for the 'most used' title on my phone as of today!
