Phoenix, AZ – April 17, 2025 – NACCU is proud to announce that Liam Gingrow from the University of Pennsylvania has received the NACCU 2025 Campus Card Champion Award. Jeff Koziol, Business Development Manager – PACS Partners with Allegion, a NACCU Champion-level sponsor, presented the award during the Awards Luncheon at the NACCU 2025 Annual Conference on April 9, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada.

Introduced in 2025, the Campus Card Champion Award recognizes individuals who have significantly advanced their campus card programs or credential offices. Through advocacy, dynamic collaboration, and strategic support, these champions have made outstanding contributions to their campuses—regardless of their official title or departmental affiliation.

NACCU received an impressive number of nominations for this inaugural award, each highlighting extraordinary dedication, innovation, and impact. The competition was fierce, and the accomplishments of all nominees were genuinely inspiring.

Recipient Liam Gingrow has elevated the role of the campus card far beyond its traditional use. He is known for turning complex needs into functional solutions that directly improve student life and campus operations. Never satisfied with the status quo, he frequently enhances the dining department's card-related systems and platforms to address unique needs and support university goals.

His work spans more than 100 card readers supporting services like dining, parking, and equipment checkout. He pioneered kiosk ordering solutions well before they became standard, proving what’s possible with vision and persistence. Whether it’s training frontline staff, mentoring colleagues, or collaborating with IT and external vendors, his focus remains on enhancing reliability, efficiency, and the user experience.
Through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to service, he has become an essential advocate for the campus card—transforming it into a dynamic tool that enriches the everyday experiences of students, faculty, and staff alike.

NACCU congratulates Liam Gingrow from the University of Pennsylvania as a recipient of the NACCU 2025 Campus Card Champion Award.
