Recipient Liam Gingrow has elevated the role of the campus card far beyond its traditional use. Never satisfied with the status quo, he frequently enhances the dining department's card-related systems and platforms to address unique needs and support university goals.
His work spans more than 100 card readers supporting services like dining, parking, and equipment checkout. He pioneered kiosk ordering solutions well before they became standard, proving what’s possible with vision and persistence. Whether it’s training frontline staff, mentoring colleagues, or collaborating with IT and external vendors, his focus remains on enhancing reliability, efficiency, and the user experience.
Through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to service, he has become an essential advocate for the campus card—transforming it into a dynamic tool that enriches the everyday experiences of students, faculty, and staff alike.
