At the NACCU 2024 Annual Conference, we asked participants to share their original career path. As you can see in the above image, we received many different answers! Those who are working in card administration, access control, and related services and technologies have come from many different starting points.

Last week, Kristy Manley shared her experience about transitioning to a new position as ID Services Coordinator at Northeastern State University when she had no prior industry experience.
