Phoenix, AZ – April 17, 2025 – NACCU is proud to recognize Deborah Nightingale, recently retired from Liberty University, as the recipient of the NACCU 2025 Distinguished Service Award. Read Winkelman, Vice President of Market Development and Strategy with NACCU Visionary Sponsor Transact + CBORD, presented the award to Deborah at the Awards Luncheon during the NACCU 2025 Annual Conference in Henderson, Nevada on April 9, 2025.
The Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to an individual who has advanced the industry, exhibited entrepreneurial spirit, is an active member of NACCU, is actively involved in R&D, and who is active in the industry through serving on advisory boards and/or actively educating through presentations and sessions.
Recipient Deborah Nightingale has made a lasting impact on NACCU and the campus card industry through years of visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the association. She was a driving force behind the development of the NACCU Guide to Going Mobile, a critical resource that helps institutions transition to mobile credentials. She has also won awards and recognition at her institution.
As a former NACCU Board President, she has shaped the direction of the association while actively contributing through years of conference presentations, webinars, and committee work. Even after her board term ended, she remained actively involved with NACCU, continuing to mentor, advise, and participate in discussions shaping the campus card field. Through her innovation, leadership, and consistent mentorship, she has become a foundational leader in NACCU and a guiding force in the campus card industry.
