Facilities Management at CU Boulder encourages applications for an Electronics Security Specialist II! This position provides timely service to students, staff, faculty and others in need of security services by planning and estimating customer needs for security systems (i.e., electronic access, security software, closed circuit television, asset tagging, alarms), and installing, servicing, calibrating and maintaining these security systems. The role provides campus with all electronic security by servicing, installing, planning and estimating electronic security systems for projects, and maintaining electronic security systems, controls and devices, security software applications, and electro-mechanical door hardware. Provide electronic security requirements by servicing, installing hardware, and planning and estimating hardware requirements for projects. Produce, maintain and distribute the University’s card access inventory for students, staff, and faculty by tracking keys/cards on facility’s database. Build, maintain, and edit campus “UCB Standards” and specifications for acceptable building hardware and electronic security systems.
