Opening - Electronics Security Technician

This position exists to service and support automatic door openers, new construction locking hardware, blueprint take-offs, automatic gate openers, as well as assist other journey-level technicians in electronics systems of card access, intrusion and panic alarms, etc. Additionally, this position exists to provide assistance in the support of the Facilities Management Lock Shop with regard to locksmith duties using the master key systems on campus for both new construction and existing building maintenance. Position provides second and/or weekend shift support in regard to automated entry access systems. This includes repair and maintenance of the university’s automatic door entry systems and hard key lock services.
