Villanova University is seeking a skilled Access Control Technician to join our Wildcard Team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing both wireless and wired access control systems, along with related hardware, across the Villanova University campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair access control systems, including alarms and door hardware.
  2. Work with low voltage wiring.
  3. Provide day-to-day support for the University’s Campus Card systems.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly via help desk tickets, phone, or in-person interactions.
  5. Assist with customer service tasks as needed, including taking photos, printing IDs, and processing deposits into stored value accounts at the service window.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Strong background in access control systems.
  2. Ability to independently manage troubleshooting and repairs.
  3. Experience with low voltage wiring.
