Opening - Campus Card Office Manager
Summary of Job Duties:
The Campus Card Office located in the Arkansas Student Union is responsible for producing the official university ID card. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the office provides a welcoming and supportive environment for over 30,000 students. The ID card grants convenient access to the university's services and resources, playing a crucial role in enhancing educational experience and supporting student success.
The Card Office Manager directs and coordinates the production, customer service, marketing, technical, and administrative activities of the University's ID office. The person in this position plans and implements customized automated ID and transaction systems technology and applications (currently Transact). This position works closely with dining services for the meal plan and point of sale daily operations.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, educational technology, communications, or equivalent

Experience with interdependent databases and identification system technologies

Proven experience in managing offices, staff and working with customers
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, educational technology, communications, or equivalent

Experience with higher education ID technologies such as Transact, CBORD, or Atrium
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with diverse constituencies effectively

High technical aptitude and proficiency in data management

Understanding of identity data flows within student information systems

Supervisory skills to manage IT professionals, administrative staff, and customer support teams

Ability to develop solutions and streamline procedures for operational improvement

Project management experience

Knowledge of budget development, financial transactions, and ERP systems (e.g.,Workday)

$67,908-$76,391, commensurate with experience and education
