Description

The SAGs course is a remote classroom-type experience providing cohort guidance, support, and feedback to assist card offices in completing the self-assessment guidelines.

Developed by NACCU members and staff, the SAGs are a unique and valuable evaluation tool for campus card programs to demonstrate credibility and promote program value through self-assessment in twelve key areas. This course focuses on discussion of existing program documentation which provides evidence of program maturity. The results of this assessment can be used to guide strategic planning, increase program awareness, and to identify opportunities for program strengthening and development.

To determine if you have sufficient documentation, please view these videos created by cohort members:

The SAGs course begins in May and runs for ten months. The cohort will meet approximately every three weeks with schedule adjustments made for semester start-up, holidays, user group meetings, etc.  Self-assessment materials and evidence documentation are due one week prior to each class so that we may engage in robust discussion.

There are limited seats available in this class.

Due to demand for this program, those interested in participating must first apply and be selected for the cohort. NACCU SAGs has a $ 995 registration fee once selected, which includes access to live sessions, materials, access to the cohort, and faculty mentors who facilitate the 10-month program.

Testimonials:

I would definitely recommend this program to other NACCU members. In an industry that values data driven decision making, this program will give you an incredible amount of information in an easily reviewable format. After the completion of this program, we are now better positioned to set meaningful, achievable goals; answer questions about our compliance with applicable regulations and have informed conversations about the state of our program. The value of this investment cannot be overstated.
Brista Hurst-Kent, University of Texas – Tyler

SAGs lets you assess where your card office is at and helps you set  goals on where to take it. The lessons from the classes and the knowledge from your fellow peers are invaluable. If you're looking to take your card office to the next level, join SAGs!
Coco Dean, University of California – Irvine

This program offers an opportunity to see how your operation compares to campus across the country. No matter how well you think your campus card operation is running, there are always opportunities to improve. The SAGs course helps make you aware of the gaps so you can make your card office the best it can be.
Josh Palmerio, Villanova University

I highly recommend the program to fellow NACCU members for its multifaceted benefits.  Overall, the program offers a unique opportunity for NACCU members to invest in their professional development, stay updated on industry trends, and connect with like-minded peers. By participating in the program, members can enhance their expertise, broaden their professional network, and contribute to the advancement of campus card operations across institutions.
Alicia Todaro, University of Central Missouri

I would recommend this program to other NACCU members because it provides a structured path for assessing the card office. The structure of this program allowed me to assess the program not only based on financials, but on the things we may not realize have such an impact on how productive the program is. The faculty provided invaluable feedback and helped me look at things from a different perspective.  Participating in the program also helped me build relationships with the other participants.
Lindsey Howard, The University of Alabama
