The information on this page can also be found in the Tips & Info section of the Mobile Event App.
There is no official dress code for the conference. You'll see everything from flip flops to full business suits.
But most attendees wear business casual attire. You probably want to bring a light jacket or sweater to sessions with you in case meeting rooms are chilly. Be sure to also bring some comfortable shoes for the NACCU Fun Walk/Run.
Bring some logo clothing to wear to the opening reception on Sunday night. Sunday is Wear your Colors! day - show off your school's colors, sports team, or even your card office logo! Sweatshirt, hat, jersey, jacket, T-shirt - whatever you want to wear to show off your school!
The average high temperature in late April is in the mid-60s, with an average low around 40 degrees. There is also a chance of rain during this time of year.
Upon arrival at the NACCU registration desk, you will receive:

Session Categorization & Seating
Educational sessions are categorized using NACCU's Core Competencies for the Campus Card Professional.
Proficiency in these competencies will enable campus card professionals to demonstrate expertise and gain a higher level of recognition on their respective campuses and industry wide. The Core Competencies form the foundation for future endeavors as NACCU frames professional development activity, establishes standards of practice and helps guide individual career development for campus card professionals.
NACCU members may download the Core Competencies here.
In addition, sessions are categorized by level: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. These levels will assist you in scheduling sessions that are right for you.
Session Attendance and Seating:
We recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket to sessions as meeting rooms can be chilly.
If it is important to you to attend a specific session, be sure to arrive early to ensure you get a seat. We also encourage you to please take a seat near the front of the room, so that latecomers can slip into the back seats.
If you require ADA accommodations for seating, please note when you register for the conference, or notify us if you need assistance.
NACCU Night Out at the National Bowling Stadium
End your conference experience with an exciting evening of celebration. Strike up some fun with your fellow conference attendees at Reno's National Bowling Stadium!
The only stadium of its kind in the entire world, the National Bowling Stadium (NBS) brings the classic sport of bowling to the exciting landscape of downtown Reno. You can split your time between the museum and entertainment including photo ops, caricature artists and live music, view the expansive competition lanes (and possibly championship play). Oh, and you can also take your turn at bowling in the Kingpin Club!
There will be delicious food, beverages, and plenty of seating to spare.
Buses leave for the NBS at 6:30pm and will return to the Peppermill throughout the evening (we don’t want to pin you down). The last bus leaves NBS at 9:00pm.
Additionally, this is where Bill Murray threw three strikes in a row and Woody Harrelson bowled with a rubber hand in the movie "Kingpin".
This event is included in your full conference registration. Guest tickets to this event are available at $50 each. Contact Janice at email@example.com to add a guest ticket to your conference registration.
Bring your conference badge and ID with you to board the bus. Make sure guests have badges as well.
Post Conference Tour: University of Nevada, Reno
