NACCU 2020 Updates

Conference registrations are rolling in at NACCU 2020, and we are still bringing in exhibitors too. You'll see some companies who are new to the NACCU exhibit hall, so be sure to stop by their booths and welcome them and tell them you are glad they joined us! If you have a vendor who isn't exhibiting, please reach out to them.

Educational sessions are listed by block so you can decide which session to attend in each block. We recommend attending at least one roundtable session and at least one Gold session. Our Gold sessions are presented by our Gold level corporate members who do a lot to support NACCU.

Speaking of those who support NACCU, our conference simply wouldn't be possible if not foour sponsors. If your vendor is on this list, please thank them. If your vendor is not on this list, ask them to contact Dawn at dawn@naccu.org and discuss sponsorship opportunities.

There are some exciting new additions to the NACCU Annual Conference schedule! Want to know more? Watch Dawn's video below for the announcements!

We look forward to seeing you in Austin soon!

NACCU Book Club

Ready to broaden your management and leadership skills? The NACCU Book Club is for you! Join us to read and discuss management and leadership books which will help you understand diverse perspectives and connect with ideas that may be relevant to your work and/or life.

Our NACCU Book Club selection is Delight Your Customers by Steve Curtin. Do your front-line customer service staff know the difference between their job function (knowledge and skills) and their job essence (motivation)? How does this distinction affect the way they interact with students and other card office customers and partners? Is it always necessary to “delight” your customers?  Or should you focus on removing obstacles and making things easier for your customer? We’ll meet on Tuesday, February 25th to talk about this and more!

Register now to join us!

Ready to take your NACCU involvement to the next level?

Apply to serve on a NACCU committee! But...why?

Read two perspectives from NACCU members!

From Emily Messa, University of Houston:

"One of my best professional experiences was attending the NACCU Orlando Conference in 2017. I was in awe – there were so many excellent education sessions and the vendor showcase was fantastic. At the vendor showcase, my colleague Esmeralda Valdez and I noticed an opportunity to register to serve on a NACCU committee, and we both eagerly added our names to the list of applicants. Soon after, we were honored..." (read more)

From William Bourlier, University of Southern California:

"My first ever conference experience was attending the NACCU San Francisco Conference in 2015. I learned so much during my first NACCU conference and attending the New Professional Institute. The Mentor Program was incredibly helpful to help guide me through the conference and make connections with other attendees. Through making those connections with other attendees, they recommended that I should volunteer for a committee. When the email came out for volunteers to serve on a NACCU committee..." (read more)

NACCU provides programs and services to our members, many which would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteer leaders. NACCU volunteers serve on committees ranging from Awards to Corporate Relations, Membership to Professional Development, or Technology Research to Volunteer Development - there is sure to be an area of interest to anyone who has time and a desire to contribute to the success and future of the association and the industry!
Indicate your interest in serving on a committee now!
