New
Hampshire High School opts for
efficiency
TORONTO, Ontario – Students at
Bishop Guertin High School in
Nashua, New Hampshire, spend less
time in line and more money on food
thanks to the on-line cafeteria and
vending machine transaction system
installed recently by ITC Systems of
Toronto, Canada.
The private school’s new MultiPlan
on-line system means student photo
ID cards can be linked to accounts
and used to buy food. According to
ITC Systems CEO Campbell Richardson,
the one-card system eliminates the
need for hardware, simplifies
student purchases and improves food
services tracking.
“The school’s food services provider
wanted to ensure they were providing
the best system possible for staff
and students,” Mr. Campbell says.
“We worked closely with
representatives of Republic
Management to come up with a
solution that meets the school’s
varied food service needs
effectively and efficiently.”
Mr.
Richardson
notes that feedback from school
representatives has been very
positive and discussions are already
underway for two other projects: a
Web Purchase component that will
enable parents to purchase meal
plans online and a system for
integrating the school’s library and
bookstore.
“ITC Systems is really pleased to
offer a series of products that
helps organizations save money and
find efficiencies where none were
thought to exist,” Mr. Campbell
says. “It’s very gratifying work.”
