Program Description:

Is there such a thing as TMI (too much information) when communicating with your student staff members? This presentation focuses on the transformation Carleton’s Campus Card Office undertook in our student staff communication strategies beginning winter 2014. Both bottom-up and top-down communication strategies were implemented between three levels of staff (professional, student team leadership, and the full student staff team), producing quantified and qualitative outcomes that informed future choices. These topics along with further areas for growth and the implications of constant shifts in team needs through the academic year and across staff turnover will be explored.
