Attendees offered many positive comments about the conference. Robert Gomez, Dean of Business Services at Texas State Technical College, said that the conference was “very well planned and organized, with very good presenters. I learned a lot more than I thought there was to beginning a one card system.” Tammy Brutlag, Telecommunications Manager at Concordia University, remarked that “I thought it was excellent. The accommodations were worth the money and the overall show was better, with more vendors, more sessions and broken into tracks.” Speaker and exhibitor Jeff Zander of General Meters said that “...the only thing you didn’t give me was a wheelbarrow... that way I could have more easily carried all the leads away from the show with me.” Niles Dally of NPD and Associates, another exhibitor at the conference, remarked that “The show was great for us. We’ll definitely be in again next year.” Tom de Regt, a corporate attendee from Netherlands-based card systems provider Magna Carta, said that the event was “an excellent conference, worth the trip from Amsterdam.” In addition to the informational content of the conference, attendees enjoyed the many amenities offered by the Fairmont Hotel, as well as the opportunities to meet face to face with vendors and peers at other institutions.
