OneCard Coordinator
Bowdoin College invites applications for a OneCard Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the OneCard Program, including card issuance and replacement, door access scheduling, vendor support, department liaison and card program marketing. The OneCard Program is an integral function in the daily operations of the College, facilitating building and dorm access, College retail purchases and dining plans, laundry services, copying, printing, and athletic facility use. The OneCard Coordinator is the primary contact for this program, and serves as the liaison between cardholders, College departments, suppliers and vendors, and, potentially, local merchants. Responsibilities include resolution of access and card issues, coordination of door access schedules, facilitation of the online deposit system, creation and dissemination of program information, marketing oversight, and adherence to and maintenance of financial reporting procedures.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with superior customer service skills and the ability to complete multiple projects in an organized and timely fashion. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' experience participating in the implementation and management of projects, and developing and reviewing technical guidelines, are required. Applicants must possess exceptional communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability and willingness to learn state of the art security/technology advances related to campus transaction cards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn other software packages are necessary. This position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule to provide program support outside of regular business hours, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Marketing experience, experience with electronic ID and facility access, and experience working in a higher-education setting are strongly preferred.
