CARD SYSTEM/CCTV ANALYST

REPORTS TO: FORMTEXT Business Analyst
OVERVIEW: FORMTEXT Support the day-to-day operations of the College's campus card system and closed circuit (CCTV) camera system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. FORMTEXT Troubleshoot basic system problems and coordinate repairs, respond to user work orders and technical issues, and analyze problems, propose solutions, and offer technical assistance to user departments.
2. Assist the Business Analyst in the creation of accounts including Residence Access, Meal Plans and Flex dollar plans. Interface with Student Affairs to oversee and coordinate the production of new and replacement ID cards. Ensure security and integrity of card production. Resolve questions pertaining to access and meal plan programs.
3. Support the Business Analyst in the development of materials related to the card system and CCTV system operations including: system policies and procedures, marketing and promotional programs, monthly statements, and routine and specialized management reports.
4. Support the update and maintenance of the Persona lock system software and hardware. Interface with various college departments and vendors to coordinate the installation and maintenance of system hardware, set up user access, input data and records to update existing programs and implement new programs, analyze hardware problems and make recommendations for solutions, and maintain records for replacement parts and service calls.
5. Actively participate in user groups and support networks to perform troubleshooting and problem resolution. Stay abreast of changes and innovations in the card systems, attend working groups and training sessions, and conduct training for in-house staff.
MARGINAL DUTIES: Perform all other duties as may be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree. Three to five years experience in managing computer technology applications with particular knowledge in closed circuit camera operations and/or combination of education and experience. Ability to multi-task and manage physical and financial resources.
